Why Contractor Growth OS exists
The Call Was Paid For. The Job Was Still Lost.
A homeowner calls about a $1,200 repair at 4:40 on a Friday. Nobody picks up. The office is closing, the last two techs are still on a job, and the call rolls to voicemail. Someone returns it Monday morning. By then the work belongs to whoever answered first.
That call was already paid for. It came from an ad, a search result, or a review a customer left two years ago. The money to create it was spent long before the phone rang. What failed was everything that happens after it arrives.
Established contractors rarely need another tactic. They need one party accountable for the full path from first contact to booked job to repeat customer. That is what Contractor Growth OS does.

Why I Built Contractor Growth OS

Toby Hanson
Founder, Contractor Growth OS
I’m Toby Hanson, founder of Contractor Growth OS, based in the Denver, Colorado area. I work directly on the systems behind local visibility, lead response, estimate follow-up, reviews, referrals, and customer reactivation.
I kept seeing established contractors pay one company for the website, another for advertising, and several software companies to hold the leads. When a call went unanswered or an estimate went cold, nobody owned what happened next.
Contractors were spending real money to make the phone ring, but no one was accountable from the first call through the booked job and the next customer relationship.
That’s why I built Contractor Growth OS.
CGOS connects the website, local search, calls, forms, scheduling, follow-up, reviews, referrals, and past-customer campaigns. We find the first place good work is being lost, fix it, and manage what happens next.
I lead the strategy, implementation, and ongoing work personally. Founding clients work directly with me while we sharpen the service around the realities of established home-service companies.
The goal is simple: fewer vendors to chase, fewer paid-for calls lost in the gaps, and one accountable partner helping turn demand into booked work.
Where the money leaks
Five Hand-Offs Stand Between the First Ring and the Next Referral.
A homeowner can find you, call you, and still disappear before the appointment is booked. An estimate can be delivered and never followed up. A great job can finish without a review request.
CGOS connects those moments so your team can see what needs attention and who is responsible for the next step.

What CGOS does differently
One Partner Owns What Happens After the Lead Arrives.
CGOS works across the website, phone, inbox, CRM, scheduling, and follow-up so good calls and estimates have a clear next step.
Find the Leak First
We start with the missed calls, slow replies, open estimates, weak reviews, or empty schedule slots costing you work.
Keep What Already Works
We connect the website, phone, CRM, scheduling, and team processes you can rely on before replacing anything.
Manage the Follow-Through
CGOS builds and manages the response, booking, follow-up, review, referral, and reactivation systems.
Count Appointments and Jobs
Traffic and lead counts matter, but the business needs to know which calls booked and which estimates sold.
Our operating standard
Build Useful Systems. Tell the Truth About What Worked.
You should know what CGOS changed, what your team owns, and whether more calls became appointments and jobs.
Make the gaps visible
Show the missed calls, unknown results, broken hand-offs, and unreliable data instead of hiding them in a report.
State the limits clearly
Your team controls pricing, capacity, service decisions, and customer relationships. CGOS manages the agreed growth systems.
Describe technology accurately
Say what a platform can do, what has been configured, and where a person still needs to make the decision.
Count what matters
Track calls, appointments, estimates, sold jobs, reviews, referrals, and returning customers instead of traffic alone.
No vanity metrics. No inflated automation claims. No fabricated proof. No black-box reporting.
Start with the Growth Assessment
Find Where Calls and Jobs Are Being Lost.
See whether the first fix belongs in reviews, local search, your website, lead response, follow-up, or another part of the business.
